Puzzle cube project

Design Brief

Brainstorm and sketch on isometric grid paper possible puzzle part cube combinations for your cube. The video linked here demonstrates the method that you will use.15 pieces
Create two different Puzzle Cube designs in your notebook. Note that the design brief that follows requires that each puzzle be made of five unique parts, each part must contain at least four and no more than six hardwood cubes, puzzle parts must interlock, and puzzle parts may not be rectangular prisms. . For each design, neatly sketch and color code an isometric view of each of the five component parts and show how they fit together in the isometric view of the cube on isometric grid paper. You will do this using the method described in #3 above.  You will need a total of two solutions with ten unique parts.
Create shaded isometric sketches of each of the five parts from the two solutions (ten parts total) and attach these in your notebook. Exchange your notebook with a peer for the following feedback (you may want to list the questions to ensure that everything is covered):
Criteria met: 5 parts, parts unique, parts of correct size (4-6 cubes), parts interlock, parts colored, all 27 squares filled, no rectangular prisms?
Isometric drawings: all 5 parts depicted for each, drawings reflect cube designs, drawings shaded correctly, scale listed?
Suggestions for improvement?
Review feedback and make changes if necessary.
Choose your best option from the two solutions. Create solid models of the five parts to your cube using 3-D modeling software. Begin a new project called puzzle cube and place each of your part drawings in this project. Make sure that each puzzle piece is given a unique and descriptive name. Color the parts within the CAD environment using the same color combination used in the sketching phase of your project.
Generate dimensioned multiview drawings on the IED format for each of the 5 parts. You may want to review the dimensioning guidelines from lesson 3.4 linked here. Print at least one of the dimensioned drawings and exchange with a peer. Provide feedback to your partner, referencing specific items from the dimensioning guidelines.
Assemble your cube using 3-D modeling software. You will be using assembly constraints. Review the Assembly Constraints presentation.
Use the CAD assembly to generate an exploded assembly drawing (.ipn).

The puzzle cube project was a fun project and easy to difficult a project. The puzzle cube project isn't necessarily hard but time-consuming. If the cubes didn't or perfectly good shaped or matched, you have to sandpaper the cubes. As well as getting 5 pieces that have to make a cube together but can't have a certain amount of cubes on a single piece and can't be all the same. The easiest parts were coloring and dimensioning it.

Reflection

The red piece has 6 cubes in total. Each cube was about .75 inches and 2 cubes wide. It was done by dimension and extruding it.

The yellow piece has 5 cubes in total. It about 2 cubes wide and 3 cubes long. It was done by dimensioning and extruding it.

The blue piece has 5 cubes in total.1 cube wide,3 cubes long and 2 cubes high. It was done by dimensioning and extruding.

The pink piece has 5 cubes in total. It 2 cubes tall,3 cubes long and 1 cube wide. It was by dimensioning and extruding.

Introduction

The puzzle cube is a project is where you make a cube of 5 different pieces. Which are all colored and have a different amounts of cubes.

The Purple piece has 6 cubes in total. It's 3 cubes long,2 cubes tall and 2 cubes wide. It was done by dimensioning and extruding.
